Our story
1978
The origins
Hermann Vittur, together with his brothers and sister, realised his dream: to build a mountain hut near the Piz Arlara chairlift.
A simple place, featuring a sunny terrace, born from the desire to offer refreshment and warmth to those who loved the mountains.
From there, the rest is history…
Since 2002
The transformation
As the years passed, the small Ciablun mountain hut grew and always kept pace with the times. The construction of the new chairlift already brought a significant change, and gradually, the Piz Arlara Alpine Restaurant took shape, enhanced by a new hall built with antique timber from South Tyrolean barns.
2025
A new chapter
After 47 years of activity, Armin and Verena look to the future with a fresh and authentic rebranding, naturally without losing the original characteristics.
Furthermore, the former bistro “L Pom” is transforming into a private Retreat, dedicated to exclusive experiences and unique moments.

Our values originate from the mountains, where silence teaches respect, the peaks inspire passion, and the paths recall the importance of tradition, but also the necessity of looking towards the future with curiosity and enthusiasm. Here, every action is guided by the authenticity of nature.
