Winter in Alta Badia

Appetite comes with skiing

130 km of local slopes and over 500 km of runs in other areas of Dolomiti Superski that can be reached on skis – here in Alta Badia every day can be spent in a different way! Sounds like a dream, doesn't it?

Beginners and less experienced skiers can improve their techniques on numerous large and sunny blue runs. The aces of Alpine skiing can tackle the dizzying slopes of FIS competitions. While snowboarders can demonstrate their skills in the snow park Alta Badia and in the other Movimënt Parks.

At this point, the final ingredients for total winter happiness are a big piece of strudel and an energizing bombardino. Enjoy them in the warmth of the indoor lounge, in front of the crackling fireplace, or on the splendid panoramic terrace of the Piz Arlara Restaurant on the ski slopes of Corvara! Or in the nearby Bistro L'Pom, which is open for you during the whole winter!

Piz Arlara Winter Highlights

Taste the winter in Alta Badia at the Piz Arlara Restaurant

Easy arrival and departure

For skiers of any level
There are no long and complicated directions. There is only one simple way to reach us – with the Arlara chairlift and with your skis on. Our Restaurant and the Bistro L'Pom are located right at the top station of the lift.

After a break at Piz Arlara you can choose between two blue runs, number 5 and number 6, that allow to reach Corvara from three different sides (leading to the valley stations of the chairlifts Piz Arlara and Pralongià and of the cables cars Col Alt and Boè). Another possibility is to rush towards Corvara along red run number 4. The Prè Ciablun chairlift connects Piz Arlara with the ski runs leading towards La Villa and San Cassiano.

Relaxation Area

Festive atmosphere is in the air
Sun, music and loungers with a stunning view of the Dolomites. An oasis of peace and harmony just a few steps away from the lively ski slopes of Corvara. It's here, on the sunny terrace of the Piz Arlara Restaurant and in the adjacent relaxation area that you can truly realize to be on holiday!

Hot drinks

Warm up your hands and your heart
Mulled wine, Jägertee or perhaps a bombardino... Otherwise, coffee, hot chocolate or fragrant chai tea – each of them is a great remedy against mountain frost! Just order your favourite hot drink at the bar of the Piz Arlara Restaurant or at the Bistro L'Pom. And then, look for a place next to the fireplace or near the traditional Tyrolean stove.
